8 Apps You Need Right Now

I am a huge fan of Tim Ferriss’ 4 hour work week book, but what I love more is being able to work a light 4 day work week myself with lots of time for golf.  A huge part of my success has been surrounding myself with systems and people that get stuff done.  Here are 8 apps that I have on my phone that you need to download and start using right now:

Evernote:  This amazing app isn’t new to the market, but it blows my mind all the time with it’s fantastic features and the perfect price for all entrepreneurs: FREE.  I use it for note taking, brainstorming, and keeping track of who I meet where.  The search features are brilliant.

SignNow: Goodbye paper and hello electronic signing.  I haven’t had to go into a bank to sign a document in months.  I just sign whatever they need, email it in, and my life just got easier.  I love the efficiency of being able to sign whatever I need on the go and this FREE app always gets the job done.

FUSE:  Shameless self promotion.  Yup, I helped create this one, so I know it’s sheer awesomeness first hand.  It puts all of your social media into one easy to manage place.  It’s better than HootSuite, easier to manage, and will make you look like a social media boss.

Dwolla: If you haven’t discovered this “better than PayPal” option, you need to.  Handy for merchants the pricing for small transactions can’t be beat and the customer service is first class all the way.

Audible: If you’re like me, you don’t have time to actually read all of the entrepreneur and business books that you should be, so I get my education while I am on the go thanks to audible.  There’s just something about Sir Richard Branson telling his story in his voice that gives the story more meaning.

Mint:  It’s your money, but all in one easy to manage, beautiful user experience design place.  I love it for giving me the big picture that my one online bank application will never fully appreciate.

Pocket:  I don’t know about you, but I am forever coming across a compelling article on my smartphone when I don’t have the time to dig into it. Rather than trying to save the link, I will just bookmark it using Pocket and come back to it later.

Unroll.me: Easily one of my favorite tools to put all of the subscription emails that I receive in one place.  Take that airline offer!  Kaboom to you Groupon!  All of those put in one place that I can check when and where I want to.
