Book Review: Lost Connections

I just finished listening to Lost Connections, Uncovering the Real Causes of Depression and — the Unexpected Solutions, and I, like so many others, feel that this may be one of the most important books of our time.

Johann Hari is a brilliant author who spent years researching depression to bring us the real facts and solutions – not the studies that big pharma releases, but actual, factual data. This book has already helped me to realize that depression is not a fault in my brain, or due to some illness that I have, but instead, caused by my environment, my lack of connection, events from my past, and the damage that’s been caused over time. I would love to write an amazing review of this book that would convince you to read it, but instead, I’ll share a few other reviews (below) and a summary of the book, plus a free Audible copy to hopefully inspire you to do so.

This book isn’t just for those dealing with depression, though so many people are and don’t realize it, but it’s also good for those that have people in their lives that are dealing with depression, to better understand what it is, what caused it, and how to help them recover from it. I hope you get a chance to read or listen to this book because it will change your life if you do.
